Darren's Reflection on Psalm 91

14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation."

Thoughts:
I confess that many times I rush into getting things complete that I forgot to pray to God. Forgetting to commit my task in his hand and just finishing it by my own flesh. As I read this last 3 verses of Psalm 91, God with grace reminded me that always come to Him in all circumstances and be patient before him for he will come to our aid.

Application:
In the last 3 verses, it reveals God's character. He delights when we call upon him and acknowledges him. Then he goes to say he'll deliver and honor us, showing us salvation! I repent of the times I neglected him. No matter how anxious my heart is over any situation and how distracted it is, I'm going to make effort to pray and commit it to God always! :)
