1 How good and pleasant it is
when brothers live together in unity!
2 It is like precious oil poured on the head,
running down on the beard,
running down on Aaron's beard,
down upon the collar of his robes.
3 It is as if the dew of Hermon
were falling on Mount Zion.
For there the LORD bestows his blessing,
even life forevermore.
It is clear that from Psalm 133, one of the things that really pleases the Lord is that the spiritual family lives in harmony, and the cell members love one another.
In this fallen world, the devil constantly tries to create differences between brothers. And these differences can come in many different forms. It could be being envious of one another. Or it could be being competitive doing ministry.
But when we walk in agreement with one another, the devil has to flee. And the Lord is extremely pleased.
This quarter, I really want to make it a point to be a blessing to my cell brothers. Lord, lift me up when I fall short. Help me to learn to depend on them too.
Things to ponder
1. Rate your cell group's level of unity - 1 to 10 (10 means the most).
2. What are some reasons why the cell group is not as united as you would like to be?
3. What are you going to do about it?
4. Pray for your cell group to be united in one heart one spirit, aligned to your cell leader and the church leadership.
